Paxley Scares Dame into a Pinfall with a Chainsaw

Going into the match, a lot of things were on Dame’s mind. She had to deal with a problem that made herself known last week in Vice. With someone of her pedigree, it was clear she had a lot on her plate. She also had to deal with the imminent threat of Paxley appearing out of nowhere. Interference could ruin the match, leading to a loss at the worst time. But she knows Paxley very well, so she’ll definitely see her coming from miles away.

Both women were strong in the match. Vice used her MMA skills to gain an advantage in the beginning. She kicked Dame off her feet by tripping her up, then kicked her in the chest. If anyone has lethal striking ability, it’s Vice. She later got on Dame’s back and held on tight, attempting to choke her out. But she broke the hold by falling on her back. They went back and forth, but then Dame got some momentum.

Her fellow member of the Culling, Shawn Spears, grabbed Vice by the foot. That allowed her to kick Vice to the outside. As she went outside and tossed her back into the ring, a surprise was waiting to change the match in a big way.

Paxley arrived, hidden in the NXT sign, and used a chainsaw to break through it. Dame and Spears were now very scared, as they attempted to run from Paxley and the chainsaw. Spears escaped, with Paxley running after him. Dame got back in the ring at the worst possible time. Vice hit her with a backfist, applied the cover, and got the pinfall for the victory. It seems like Dame’s problem with Paxley just got bigger. She has to regroup in a big way in the coming weeks. If things keep getting out of hand, another match will be inevitable.
