Dolph Ziggler Revealed as Solo Sikoa's Mystery Opponent on WWE Raw

Fightful Select has revealed that former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler is reportedly going to be the mystery opponent. Just this past Friday, another former WWE star made their return in the tournament, Zack Ryder. He faced LA Knight on WWE SmackDown. Hopefully, Ziggler’s luck is better.

The Last Time is Now tournament was created to find out who John Cena’s final opponent will be on December 13. Ziggler has had a history with Cena. Their feud was from 2012 to 2013. It started when Ziggler accused Cena of trying to steal AJ Lee. Their feud helped not only establish Ziggler as a real threat, but Big E got his start in WWE because of Lee and Ziggler. He was the muscle for their little group. One of their highlights in their feud was at the December 2012 WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs PLE. There, Ziggler would beat Cena for the Money in the Bank contract for a future shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title. A month later, on January 14, 2013, the two would face each other in a Steel Cage on WWE Raw. So there is a history between them and Ziggler is a good choice to bring back.

Ziggler was released from WWE in 2023 and is now currently wrestling under his real name Nic Nemeth and is wrestling in TNA. He’s a former TNA World Champion and a former TNA Tag Team Champion.

The Other Reported Spoilers

That’s not the only spoiler for the big show at Madison Square Garden. It’s Cena’s final WWE Raw match, in which he will be opening the show.

As reported earlier and first by Bodyslam+, Roman Reigns, AJ Lee, and Liv Morgan are going to be backstage tonight. It’s unknown if they will be getting in the ring at all. With the report of Reigns returning, one would have thought it was going to be the mystery opponent, but WWE has thought outside the box.

Anyway, the other tournament match is Je’Von Evans versus a returning Gunther. Gunther has been gone since losing the WWE World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam. Becky Lynch is going to again defend her Intercontinental title against Maxxine Dupri. Nikki Bella is also going to be discussing her past actions against Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer. So strap in because it's going to be a crazy WWE Raw on Netflix.
