Dominik Mysterio Calls Luchadores 'Ugly'

While on Busted Open Radio, Dom hilariously went off on his new coworkers in a preposterous monologue. "I'm a good-looking dude—I don't need to wear a mask," Dom said. "There's a reason these guys wear masks—they're all ugly. I could give a s### about Penta and Fenix—they're all fossils at this point compared to me. I beat Penta on the biggest stage of them all, and then I went to Raw and beat him again. I am the greatest luchador Mysterio of all time."

It's obvious, of course, that Dom was in character here and committed to the bit. The 28-year-old is a true blue-chip prospect, and his ability to engage even in a setting like a media outlet while not ruining his schtick is so impressive.

After hopefully getting a solid title reign in the upper mid-card, Dom has all the tools to slot nicely into the main event picture within the next four years and become a significant draw for the company. In the meantime, I'm sure he'll have plenty of matches lined up with some top luchadores.
