Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu on for WrestleMania 42, Stipulation Set

Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu have been at each other’s throats since last year, and it all came to a head over the past few weeks. To end SmackDown on a very worrying note, we saw McIntyre and Fatu fight up on top of a building, teetering on the edge of its railing, looking to maim and mangle each other. Both men were exhausted, leading to them crashing on the concrete flooring below.

In spite of all of that, Fatu and McIntyre showed up on this week’s SmackDown, with Drew McIntyre having taped up ribs but still a sinister grin on his face, saying he’s still out to get Jacob Fatu, and this is a Drew McIntyre unlike any other. Jacob Faty would get on the mic later in the night and say that Drew McIntyre threatened his way of life, tried to take food off his kids’ plates by assaulting him after he took him out.

Jacob would say that he intends on doing the exact same thing week in and week out until he’s satisfied. McIntyre would go on the offensive and claim that Jacob Fatu is a criminal and a liar after all he’s done, and his unfounded accusations of Drew assaulting him.

These two were heated tonight, and things were about to combust before SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis would intervene. Aldis said that none of these men were in any condition to compete tonight. That said, they’ll probably be ready three weeks from tonight, making a match in Las Vegas, Nevada, at WrestleMania 42 official between the two.

However, after all the things these two have done to each other, Nick Aldis and WWE want no liability in all of this, and that’s why their match will be an Unsanctioned Match, absolving the company of any responsibility.

Both men were very receptive to the idea, and in April, we will see a brutal war, as Drew McIntyre gets his hands on Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42 in an Unsanctioned Match.
