Dwayne Johnson hilariously trolls kids during Moana promotions

With just a few days left for Moana’s live-action film to release, Dwayne Johnson has been heavily invested in promoting the Disney film. Known for his engaging and popular promotional activities, Johnson has been at it again for Moana.

After spending time with children from St Gregory Primary School in Sudbury, Suffolk, “The Rock” recently uploaded a video on his social media, where he is seen interacting and having fun with interested and eager Moana fans. However, it is not known if they are students of the above-mentioned Suffolk school in the UK.

Throughout the entire video, Johnson is seen providing his autograph to his young fans on their clothes. However, he moves one level up and pranks them by using the blunt end of his marker to autograph them on their skin. He first proceeds to fake sign a young kid’s scalp, before doing something similar to another one’s neck and cheek. The video had people in stitches in the background, while fans also appreciated his humorous attempt in the comment section.

Dwayne Johnson discusses his warm meeting with young fans in the UK

Recently, Dwayne Johnson and his Moana cast members flew across the Atlantic Ocean to meet primary school kids at the Potters Field Park next to the River Thames. The event was arranged by Disney and the school principal.

Shortly after the meeting, Johnson met with the BBC and shared his experience. “It was awesome [to meet them], and they were losing their minds and going bonkers and going crazy,” Johnson told the BBC. “That’s the fun part of fame and the best part of fame. This kind of stuff is important.”

The Moana live-action film, directed by Thomas Kail and starring Johnson as Maui and Catherine Laga’aia as Moana, is set to release on Jul. 10, 2026.
