During a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Ethan Page discussed his time in NXT and departure from All Elite Wrestling. Page was removed from the AEW roster page in early May 2024 and debuted in NXT later that month, attacking Trick Williams and starting a program that would lead to him becoming NXT Champion. He’s continued to play a pivotal role on the brand since. After NXT last night, Page spoke with Bully Ray on Busted Open After Dark and said that AEW didn’t know what they had in him. “They didn’t know what they had, and now they do. I’m gone. These guys have me. They have the ability to do whatever it is that they want, and they have chosen to open a door for Ethan Page to absolutely kick wide open,” Page said.
