WWE star Seth Rollins was attacked by a fan Monday night as he walked out of the ring and off the stage during an episode of WWE Raw at Barclays Arena in Brooklyn.
Rollins, 35, was tackled by the fan before the event's referees and security pulled the man off and dragged him backstage. The attack was only briefly seen on the television broadcast, but fans in attendance posted videos on Twitter.

“WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously," the company said in a statement, via ESPN's Marc Raimondi. "The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Rollins has been with WWE since 2010 and is one of the biggest stars in wrestling. The attack came just after a segment that saw Rollins ambush Finn Balor. When the fan tackled Rollins, cameras cut back to Balor and then showed replays of their segment.
