First Four Superstars Unlocked Via WWE 2K26's Ringside Pass Revealed

2K is taking a different approach to DLC in WWE 2K26. Instead of releasing packs you can buy throughout the year, new Superstars will arrive each season via the Ringside Pass. Subscribe to the Pass's premium track, and you'll then be able to unlock its DLC stars along with various other items, and everything included in season one's pass has now been revealed.

What's Waiting For You During Season One Of WWE 2K26's Ringside Pass?

There will be 80 items to unlock as you progress through the first season of WWE 2k26's Ringside Pass - 40 on the free track, and an additional 40 on the premium track. However, if you want those extra Superstars, you're going to have to pay for premium. Unless you bought a more expensive version of the game, in which case season one's premium track, and potentially the premium track on future seasons, is included.

As for who those Superstars are, the AAA fans among you are going to be incredibly pleased, as, for the first time since WWE acquired the promotion almost a year ago, wrestlers from the Mexican company have found their way into the video games. Four of them will be waiting for you on the premium track during season one, starting with El Hijo del Vikingo.

All Of Season One's DLC Stars Are From AAA

As promised, there will be no grinding necessary when it comes to unlocking the first DLC character on each season's premium track. They will simply be unlocked and added to your playable roster as soon as the premium track is unlocked. In season one, that slot goes to Vikingo, meaning he will officially be the first wrestler to appear in a WWE video game while contracted to AAA.

Lady Flammer will be up next, as she can be unlocked when you hit tier seven, and Psycho Clown makes it three as he will join your ranks once you've hit tier 13. Last but not least for season one is the AAA wrestler I imagine you want the most - Mr. Iguana. 2K clearly knows it, too, hence why you won't unlock the quirky in-ring star until you've unlocked the first 20 tiers during season one's premium track.

If 2K sticks to its word, there will be no unlockable wrestlers beyond tier 20 of each season pass. Just cosmetics and other items beyond that point.

The Ringside Pass remains a controversial change to the way 2K does things in its WWE games. The big issue fans seem to have with the new system is that they are required to work for DLC Superstars even after having already paid for them. We won't know just how much you need to play to unlock those first 20 tiers. If getting to Mr. Iguana is going to be a grind for a lot of people, we might see more backlash post-launch.
