Scott D'Amore, claimed that Triple H could turn heel on screen for getting heat after John Cena's retirement match. Given Hunter's medical condition, the former TNA President noted that his in-ring return might not be possible. Stevie Richards also reckoned something similar and compared it with Vince McMahon's on-screen heel persona change.

Scott wrote about Cena's retirement match finish and the backlash from the fans on Triple H on Uncrowned's the D'Amore Drop. In his column, the former TNA President noted that the heat online could translate to the WWE CCO's on-screen change of persona in the upcoming weeks.

"It doesn’t seem medically possible for Hunter to come back in-ring, but the heat on him right now could translate into a hell of a heel role," Scott wrote on Uncrowned's the D'Amore Drop. In the similar lines, Stevie Richards had spoken about a potential change in character for the WWE CCO. For years, Hunter has been a face in WWE, especially since his medical condition.

"Triple H is going to be the next Mr. McMahon on TV," - Stevie Richards

Richards compared Hunter getting booed by the fans with Vince McMahon's on-screen heel persona change. He noted that a certain segment from Triple H's post-Cena retirement speech to tht of Vince's speech, where he claimed that Bret Hart sc**wed over Bert. He explained that such a possibility is on the cards with Triple H.

"Now, Gunther has heat, Triple H has heat, and Triple H used a line that I believe that Triple H is going to be the next Mr. McMahon on TV. The time-honored tradition: he pulled out the Bret sc**wed Bret interview line from Vince. He did it at the post-show when they booed him," Stevie Richards said.
