Jimmy Uso has voiced his concerns about his brother Jey Uso following Roman Reigns' return on last week's episode of WWE RAW. The OTC gave Jey an interesting motivational message as the show faded out, and a wary Jimmy stood in the background of the conversation.
There have already been teasing of tension between Jimmy and Jey Uso in recent weeks due to the behaviour of the former World Heavyweight Champion. Main Event Jey has shown signs of frustration and hasn't been afraid to take this out on LA Knight, a fellow fan favourite.
Jimmy has been concerned about Jey's state of mind in recent weeks, and this will only worsen following the return of the Head of the Table. Their intriguing exchange on RAW had fans predicting either a heel turn or a new partnership forming.
It seems that Jimmy is fearful his brother is losing himself and becoming everything he hated in Reigns during the peak of the Bloodline saga. He spoke on WWE RAW Recap about the situation: "He's acting like Roman Reigns. We all three grew up together and we take to heart what Big Uce says, even the bad, though. But I feel like my brother is trying to be exactly that."
Jimmy added: "I think that he thinks he needs to one up all of us. I think that's changing him because he's got tunnel vision and it's like he's lost in the sauce. We gotta get him back because it's already took flight. He's already in a different headspace, and that's dangerous."
Jey has been one of WWE's biggest babyfaces since turning on Reigns in June 2023 and leaving The Bloodline to go solo. He has been a success in singles competition, claiming the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 41 after winning the Royal Rumble.
The highs of earlier this year have been with lows in recent months and he hasn't hid this from Jimmy or fans on RAW each week. He will now have Reigns in his ear, a leader who knows how to manipulate others to get his way.
Jimmy touched on Reigns' potential influence on his twin brother: "Whether it's through your vibes with your relationship with people or with your brothers, he ain't the same bro," Jimmy said of Jey. "He ain't the same Uce out there, I'm telling you. I know it for a fact. What's happening is clouded."
Reigns is scheduled to open tonight's episode of RAW (October 6) in Dallas, Texas to explain last week's events. But the main focus will likely be Crown Jewel, where he is reportedly expected to face Bronson Reed in a rematch in the main event.
The Bloodline saga has taken many twists and turns, involving members of Reigns' group turning against their dictator. This occurred on the June 16, 2023, episode of SmackDown when the OTC tried to convince Jey that he needed to leave Jimmy behind.
Reigns told The Usos in this segment that Jey was "the next Tribal Chief" but that he couldn't be the Tribal Chief and a twin. He claimed that Jimmy was preventing his brother from taking the Ula Fala and his place at the Head of the Table.
This led to Jey turning on Reigns and choosing his twin, Jimmy, over the Bloodline leader. That was until SummerSlam, when Jimmy cost Jey in a WWE Championship match against Reigns, which was a swerve many didn't agree fit the story.
WWE could revisit this angle and utilise Reigns' part-time schedule to have him influence Jey's direction while he is absent from TV. He could be about to finally hand over the Ula Fala to ignite either a momentous heel turn or the start of another Bloodline faction with Jey as the figurehead.
