How Should Nick Aldis Diffuse the MFT-Wyatt Sicks Situation?
WWE

MFT and the Wyatt Sicks have been fighting each other for what seems like months at this point—adding to that, their promos back and forth convey their hatred for each other, especially Solo Sikoa and Uncle Howdy. After many confrontations, the December 19, 2025, episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw the two factions finally compete in a match.

The World Tag Team Champions Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy took on JC Mateo and Tonga Loa. Unfortunately, there was no winner as a wild brawl broke out between the two factions.

Things have gone from bad to worse in this heated rivalry. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis will have to make a match guaranteeing a winner. With five people on each side, he’ll have to think wisely. Otherwise, there will be no end in sight to the carnage surrounding them.

Aldis Could Make the Extra MFT, and Wyatts Banned from Ringside

Looking at all the possible scenarios, Aldis could make the easiest choice he’s ever made as a WWE General Manager. There are five members in MFT, and Wyatt Sicks. Two of them will be in the ring fighting for the World Tag Team Championships. The problem with large factions is that there’s no controlling them, as interference is always present. The best way to stop that is to ban the non-fighting members from being ringside during the fight.

That allows the four men in the ring to focus on the tag titles. Aldis will have to send out his most aware referee, though. Distractions can let the other members interfere. If he gets a referee with their head on a swivel, a title match with just the competitors could be how the feud ends.

A Steel Cage Would Firmly Prevent Any Outside Interference

Perhaps Aldis likes the idea of banning the non-competitors from the ringside. However, he probably recognizes that the chances of referee distraction are high. What’s a match type that blatantly bans outside interference? A steel cage match means being locked inside the cage without anyone to help you or a potential partner.

Given the fact that this feud is at a boiling point, Aldis’s decision will help the two factions blow off some major steam. Bashing their opponents against the steel cage would definitely be something they all would want to do right now.

Regarding the non-competitors, they would be helpless as they watch from the outside. Aldis recognizes that he’ll have to take drastic measures, especially with how powerful both Sikoa and Howdy are. A steel cage match would guarantee order until the match is decided, and a way to let out their anger.

He Will Have to Make A Tough Decision as Soon as Possible

The Wyatt Sicks are no doubt in a terrible mood right now. They had a no-contest with MFT on Friday. Then on Saturday, they lost against Los Psycho Circus and Pagano at AAA’s Guerra de Titanes. Howdy wants to get a win right now. Sikoa feels the same way, as he is surely mad after the no-contest. Could a simple match with the outside members banned from ringside allow for a decision to be made?

Perhaps if interference concerns are significant, a steel cage match could decide the winner. Maybe Aldis has an entirely different match in mind that will settle the score. It’ll be interesting to see what he does for the next step in this feud. Whatever match it will be, it will definitely allow the two factions to get their aggression out on each other.
