Dominik Mysterio has been making history not only as WWE Intercontinental Champion, but also as the winner of the AAA Mega Championship. Although Mysterio is a star in the making, he somehow always retains his Intercontinental title in an unconvincing manner. Out of all of the challengers Mysterio has overcome, what if he gets dethroned by an unexpected prospect? What if Mysterio’s Intercontinental Title run leads to the implosion of The Judgment Day?
Throughout Mysterio’s run as champion, he has been pushing all his allies in The Judgment Day away, especially Finn Bálor. Mysterio would insult the group by seeking help to retain his title from other talent, such as El Grande Americano. Not only that, but he showed no concern for his girlfriend, Liv Morgan, who is out of action with a separated shoulder. The Intercontinental Title has brought nothing but selfishness to Mysterio.
If Mysterio maintains his current ego, it will be the demise of The Judgment Day. Another sign that can be shown is if Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh lose their tag team titles without Mysterio’s by their side. It gives Finn Bálor more motive to go for Dominik. Bálor can get fed up with Mysterio’s lies, and maybe Morgan can be involved when she returns as well.
A feud between the two can have a massive effect on The Judgment Day. With Roxanne Perez now part of the group, there could be a story involving her and Dominik that ends in a romantic relationship.
It was at this past WrestleMania where Mysterio won the Intercontinental Title. In fact, it was Bálor that Dominik pinned to become champion in the first place.
Fans could see a moment come full circle where Finn Bálor gets his revenge on Mysterio to win Intercontinental gold. Instead of seeing Finn play his regular persona, what if we see a side of Finn that hasn’t been around for years? Maybe WWE can bring back The Demon Finn to face Mysterio.
On the women’s side of The Judgment Day, the tag team relationship between Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez has been growing. This could set off Liv Morgan, who is away from injury, seeing Raquel, who is her best friend, teaming up with somebody else. Morgan can make her return during the road to WrestleMania to build up that story.
A match can revolve around Morgan and Perez, where Rodriguez serves as the special guest referee, testing her loyalty with her partners.
These stories would conclude with both Morgan and Bálor turning face. The ideal face for turn for Morgan would be breaking away from The Judgment Day and dumping Mysterio.
Finn would separate from the group as well by targeting a sneaky Mysterio and being cautious if JD McDonagh decides to betray him. To put the nail in the coffin of The Judgment Day’s implosion, WWE should conduct its draft following WrestleMania by separating the members.
