Hulk Hogan, 71, Hospitalized Amid ‘Deathbed’ Rumors

WWE legend Hulk Hogan was hospitalized this week with lingering neck and back problems, according to a TMZ report.

Some claimed at 71 years old he was on his “deathbed,” but those claims have yet to be confirmed. A representative for Hogan told TMZ he isn’t close to death and instead is dealing with more of the same issues he’s had for years.

Furthermore, Hogan is back to moving around following his neck surgery last month. The procedure was a success, just like countless others did to fix what his body dealt with throughout his wrestling career, which he always tried to toughen out to avoid taking off wrestling, per the TMZ report.

The “deathbed” accusation came from a radio show host called “Bubba the Love Sponge,” who claimed that Hogan was in bad shape and his loved ones were preparing to say goodbye to him.

“If you did some sniffing around, you might find him at a hospital near you,” the radio host said. “And it’s not good. I got some pretty reliable information last night that there are phone calls being made to various family members about getting to town to come to say your goodbyes.”

He continued “allegedly,” stating, “Rumor has it Hogan is in the hospital, and I’ve heard people say he might not make it.”

However, now that TMZ has released its findings after speaking to one of Hogan’s representatives, these claims can be put to rest, as more information on Hogan’s condition could be released soon.
