WWE superstar Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, is preparing legal action over the WWE legend’s sudden death in July.
Both the Daily Mail and TMZ are reporting that the 47-year-old plans to file a medical malpractice lawsuit tied to a neck operation Hogan underwent two months before he died, leading to his unexpected passing.
According to TMZ Sports, the "planned" lawsuit will target "at least one" of Hogan’s doctors and could involve others.
Daily believes the 71-year-old’s phrenic nerve, which controls breathing, was compromised during a neck procedure he underwent in May, leaving him short of breath in the weeks that followed, weakening him, and finally causing his death.

She told the Daily Mail that ongoing breathing issues “make you very sick” and can “make you weak.”
"We are investigating for possible malpractice," Daily said. "If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick. It's not something that's an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It's something that wears on you, makes you weak."
TMZ reported that Daily can be heard during the emergency call made from Hogan’s Clearwater Beach home on July 24, telling dispatchers, “My husband’s not breathing. He just stopped breathing.”
While the official medical examiner’s report listed cardiac arrest as the cause of death, the widow’s stance suggests respiratory failure was the triggering event.
Daily confirmed that a private autopsy was conducted, though its findings have not been released. She said she is still collecting medical records as part of the investigatory process.
Daily stressed that she does not believe Hogan’s physicians acted maliciously, but insists the compromised nerve from surgery “definitely” could have contributed to his death.
Meanwhile, Hogan’s daughter Brooke, who visited her father’s body at the funeral home, said on Wednesday was satisfied there was no foul play, noting Hulk Hogan looked “ready for a pay-per-view” and appeared well cared for.
“I was able to see my dad. It was very nice,” Brooke said. “He looked like he was ready to go on TV.”
