'I Would Be More Than Honored' R-Truth Already Knows Who He Wants To Induct Him Into The WWE Hall Of Fame
WWE

The wrestling world was shocked to recently learn that WWE wasn't bringing back R-Truth when his contract comes to an end. Fans were angry that someone as entertaining as Truth would be let go, and it's been reported that his fellow wrestlers were just as upset. No one has ever said a bad word about Ron Killings, which makes it so hard to accept that WWE would disrespect the greatest comedy act in their history. Still, R-Truth will be back in WWE one day, even if it's just for his Hall of Fame induction, and if he has his way, Road Dogg will be the one inducting him.

R-Truth Was In A Tag Team With Road Dogg During His K-Kwik Days

These days, modern wrestling fans look at R-Truth and see the goofy guy who calls John Cena his childhood hero, but Ron Killings actually got his start with WWE all the way back in the Attitude Era.

Known then as K-Kwik, Killings was signed by WWE in 1999, making it to the main roster in a tag team with Road Dogg. Their rapping gimmick made K-Kwik a star, and Killings has never forgotten it.

R-Truth Wants Road Dogg To Induct Him Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet this year, when the host asked R-Truth who would induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame, R-Truth said:

"Hmmm, probably Road Dogg, right? I think Road Dogg." (h/t Wrestling Inc.)

Van Vliet later brought up that conversation with Road Dogg, who replied:

"I would be more than honored (to induct R-Truth into WWE Hall of Fame). I would be more than honored. I love him, I love him. I got some people in my life that I love and he’s one of them… Oh yeah (he could wrestle for another 20 years), because he doesn’t have to do anything. It is magic and look, that’s what we do." Since then, R-Truth lost that job Road Dogg spoke of, but no matter what happens, he'll be back in WWE one day for what's sure to be an iconic and hilarious Hall of Fame speech.
