Jacob Fatu wins United States title at WWE WrestleMania 41

Jacob Fatu has won gold. Fatu defeated LA Knight at WrestleMania 41 Saturday to win the United States title for the first time. The finish of the match had Knight go to the top rope, but Fatu cut him off and hit a senton as Knight was still sprawled on the rope. Fatu followed that with consecutive moonsaults for the win. After the match, Haku appeared at ringside and embraced Fatu as the new US Champion celebrated with the title. Fatu won the opportunity to face Knight after winning a Last Man Standing match against Braun Strowman, becoming the new number one contender. On the final SmackDown before WrestleMania, Knight was wrestling Solo Sikoa when the match ended after Solo Sikoa interfered. The match was then restarted as a tag team match, ending when Knight scored the win with the BFT. It is the second title change on the card so far, with Jey Uso defeating Gunther to win the World Heavyweight title in the open. Source
