WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill is set to take on Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 42 for the championship, and these two have exchanged heated words over the past couple of weeks. This week’s WWE SmackDown was not any different. Unfortunately for Jade Cargill, Ripley was on fire tonight, essentially beating the champion at her own game, owning her on the mic.
Rhea Ripley would challenge Cargill to a fight, one month ahead of their showdown at the “Grandest Stage of them All.” In classic Cargill fashion, Jade wanted it at her own pace and time. Ripley was itching for a fight tonight, and she got it, but she ended up on the wrong side of it.
Jade Cargill was pretty much in trouble as Ripley stood across from her in the ring, so she decided to high-tail it out of there. But Michin and B-FAB had something to say, as Michin blocked off the path and carried a Kendo Stick to prevent Cargill from escaping.
In a huge turn of events, Michin and B-FAB, led by Jade Cargill, would surround the ring, making their alliances clear. Michin and B-FAB attacked Rhea Ripley like rabid dogs, allowing Jade Cargill to go for the kill and hit Jaded on her WrestleMania 42 opponent.
As Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore pointed out on SmackDown commentary, Michin and Cargill, as well as B-FAB, have hated each other for the better part of the year. But it seems like Michin and B-FAB saw some light, and if they can’t beat her, they should join her, and that’s exactly what happened tonight.
Jade Cargill has a ton of momentum going into her title defense at WrestleMania 42, and now, she has backup in the form of her old foes Michin and Jade Cargill.
How will this pan out for Rhea Ripley four weeks before her big title match?
