Jey Uso Returns for Confrontation with The Bloodline
- WWE superstar Jey Uso rallies the fans during his entrance.

Back from the break, making a big entrance in a major way to return to WWE SmackDown as “Main Event,” Jey Uso confronted his brother Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline to start tonight. Since he left The Bloodline, the wrestling stable led by Roman Reigns, last year, he has been associated with the WWE Raw brand. The most recent time he was on “SmackDown” was in a one-time appearance preparing for the mammoth WrestleMania 40 bout against his other brother, Jimmy Uso. He went head-to-head with Solo Sikoa on that show, which saw him record a disqualification win. Finally, he returned to the “SmackDown” for another time to discuss the escalating family feud.

Jey Uso’s Big Moment with Solo Sikoa

Jey Uso got to the arena before Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, only to have a one-on-one conversation with his brother Solo Sikoa. Solo Sikoa told Jey Uso he was foolish for seeking revenge on Roman Reigns, blaming him for splitting their once-powerful family. He also raised concerns about who else Solo was recruiting into the WWE roster, like The Guerillas of Destiny and Jacob Fatu. Jey appealed to Solo’s better judgment and advised him to wait and ponder its effects on their family members.

However, Solo Sikoa remained firm in his stance. He argued that he had no intention of causing the family further disintegration; he asked Jey Uso to come to his senses and recognize Solo as the head of the new generation of The Bloodline. This offer did not make an impressive mark on him, who attempted to dissuade Solo from taking a dangerous step. During the final confrontation session, Jey Uso threatened to ‘level off’ Fatu, who glared at him during the fight. He teased confrontation in the future, metaphorically saying the next match means a different game.

Ongoing Bloodline Drama

The fight between Jey and Solo prolongs the Bloodline story, which has dominated WWE content. On “WWE Raw” earlier in the week, Jimmy Uso tried to make amends with his brother Jey, which was refused. Towards the end of Friday’s “SmackDown,” Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso entered the building, and he confronted them on his way out after the confrontation with Solo.

Although relations between the family never stopped being strained, Roman Reigns insisted that he and the rest of The Bloodline were proud of Jey Uso. Nonetheless, there was no sign of him wanting to steer the reconciliation process with his former stablemates. He gave only a short reply before he walked away, leaving Reigns, Jimmy, and the rest of the Bloodline to digest the family conflict on their own.

Final Thoughts

That said, more family strife ensues, as Jey Uso confirms he is cutting no ties with The Bloodline anytime soon. The direction for a future confrontation with Jey and other gang members is also indicated by the mysterious allusions that the author puts in the hero’s mouth. When The Bloodline storyline has advanced, fans will patiently wait for the roles between Jey, Solo, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy Uso to play in the coming weeks before the two have their next match.
