Healing continues.
The 72-year-old has had several health-related concerns this year. In May, he missed AEW Double or Nothing after being admitted to the hospital with shortness of breath. He was later diagnosed with a class A flu and elevated heart enzymes. Last month, Ross was hospitalized due to shortness of breath again but would travel to Long Island just days later and worked the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
Ross also had two procedures done in February this year. On February 1, he posted on social media that he’d had cancer surgery on his right hip that morning. Then on February 5, he posted that he’d just had “another successful surgery, hopefully.”
Ross also released “Business Is About To Pick Up: 50 Years of Wrestling, 50 Unforgettable Calls” earlier this year. It features 50 chapters, each one covering an iconic moment in wrestling that he called.
