In a huge announcement that removes one of the top singles stars from the main event scene, Jimmy and Jey Uso announced on Monday night during Monday Night Raw that the Usos are officially back as a team and rejoining the tag team division.

The Usos Back Together

Jey Uso was heavily pushed as a singles star to see if WWE could make him one of the new faces of the company. He reached heights of popularity that few likely figured he would ever reach, even becoming World Champion. Unfortunately, WWE fans seemed to do little more than rally behind his entrance and jump on the "Yeet" train before also complaining that he was being inserted into the main event scene far too often.

When Jey lost his John Cena tournament match to LA Knight, many wondered what was next. It appears WWE has decided to take Jey back to his route and reunite him with his brother, Jimmy.

During Monday's episode of Raw, after AJ Styles and Dragon Lee successfully defended their titles against the War Raiders, New Day hopped into the ring to stake their claim to be the next challengers. The Usos' music then hit, with both Jimmy and Jey entering as well. Jimmy went on a rant about how often they were each racking up losses. He rattled off a list of recent Ls, then looked to Jey to see what the Usos were doing. He was teasing that they were denying the fact that they are the best tag team to ever compete in WWE. Jey then said they were reuniting and putting the tag team division on notice.

Jey said, "We're gonna get back to us. We’re gonna block the noise. Tag division on notice. We need gold, Uce."

Jey Uso's Singles Run Over?

With the announcement, it appears Jey Uso as Main Event Jey Uso is now a thing of the past. He may still go by the moniker in some respects, but it doesn't look like he'll be the main event of any singles matches for the near future in WWE.

His run was memorable, and Jey deserves credit for becoming as big a player as he did. Fans seemed excited about the idea of the Usos back together and it definitely adds a legitimate team to the division. It likely won't be long before Jimmy and Jey hold the titles again.
