On WWE Speed today, a new tournament began to decide the next challenger for Andrade. Joaquin Wilde defeated NXT Tag Team Champion Axiom to secure his spot in the next round. Wilde hit a 450 splash from the top rope and pinned Axiom just as the three-minute time limit was about to expire. In the second round, Wilde will face off against either Pete Dunne or Julius Creed. The Dunne vs. Creed match is airing on WWE Speed next week (August 7). The show premieres on X/Twitter every Wednesday at noon Eastern time. Austin Theory vs. Montez Ford and Je’Von Evans vs. Ashante “Thee” Adonis are the other first-round matches in the eight-man tournament, which will play out on WWE Speed over the next several weeks. The tournament winner will become the third wrestler to challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship.
