John Cena's Last WWE Match: Updated Tournament Bracket

Ever since John Cena's Farewell Tour began, the most talked-about question has been: Who will be his final opponent? Announced during the latest Saturday Night's Main Event, 16 wrestlers have been fighting for the coveted opportunity to be John Cena's final opponent in his legendary career.

Thus far, the tournament has seen the returns of former WWE superstars Zack Ryder (aka Matt Cardona) and Dolph Ziggler (aka Nic Nemeth), two wrestlers that Cena has mentioned by name during his retirement tour.

"The Ring General" Gunther has also made his return to the ring for the tournament, knocking off NXT rising star Je'Von Evans in a first-round match inside Madison Square Garden.

As we head closer to Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, here are the most updated standings in The Last Time is Now Tournament.

Friday, November 28, 2025 SmackDown:

Cena's last match will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, as part of Saturday Night's Main Event.

With the goal of “giving back,” Cena announced that WWE main roster stars will face NXT stars in exhibition matches in undercard matches on his special night.
