After a Helluva Kick rendered Karrion Kross helpless at Night of Champions, the fans thought that his rivalry with Sami Zayn might be over for good. But on last week’s Raw, ‘The Harbinger of Doom’ blindsided the former ‘Honorary Uce’ in a vicious backstage assault with a lead pipe.

A number of WWE officials had to step in to restore order. With that kind of a follow-up to his loss, Kross wouldn’t stop until he ruffled through Zayn’s head. One might wonder if there’s another match in the cards for them. As SummerSlam is a two-night showcase this year, it would automatically allow more superstars to be factored into creative plans for the event.

Given that Kross is one of the most popular superstars on the entire roster at the moment, his inclusion in ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ is a no-brainer. Also, a recent report from Wade Keller theorizing the rationale behind Kross’ dismal booking in WWE seems all but a farce. It claimed that the New York-born wrestler wouldn’t be pushed up the card due to his reluctance to take back body bumps during his matches. However, he took a number of those last weekend in Riyadh.

Karrion Kross’ WWE contract is up for renewal next month

It was back in August 2022 when Karrion Kross made his stunning WWE return alongside Scarlett on SmackDown. He took out Drew McIntyre and was slated to enter a big-time feud with Roman Reigns. However, Kross would never end up crossing paths again with ‘The Tribal Chief’.

Almost three years later, ‘The Doomsday’s’ resurrection has been a sight to behold. However, there’s not much time left on his current WWE contract. As per Fightful Select, Kross and Scarlett’s WWE deals are set to expire next month, unless an extension has already been agreed upon. There’s no word on if they have re-signed with the company or not.

But the report added that those the outlet spoke to claimed that the couple is expected to stay in WWE given their recent push on television. Moreover, the company has released new merchandising for ‘The Doom Walker’, which could be a sign of good things to come for the former NXT Champion.
