Key WWE 'Raw' Star Suffers Apparent Injury Before 'SummerSlam 2025'

A top main event player on the WWE "Raw" brand appears to have suffered an injury.

State Farm Arena played host to "Saturday Night's Main Event." In the headliner, Goldberg had the final match of his pro wrestling career. The WCW legend challenged Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Goldberg almost pulled off the upset, but he was ultimately choked out.

Prior to the main event, Rollins went one-on-one with LA Knight. The match was going as planned until Rollins went for a springboard moonsault. When "The Visionary" landed on his feet, it appeared he may have tweaked something in his knee. The ringside doctor went to check on Rollins before Knight delivered a BFT for the win.

Rollins was helped to the backstage area when "Saturday Night's Main Event" went to a commercial break. Some speculated that WWE may have been trying to swerve the audience and the long-term play would be a successful cash-in. That ended up not being the case.

Rollins has played a significant role on WWE TV. Along with Paul Heyman, Rollins has created a faction featuring Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The group has feuded with the likes of Knight, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Penta.

Many have been speculating that Roman Reigns is set to return to renew his rivalry with Rollins. For now, plans might be up in the air depending on the injury status of Rollins. This could be a huge blow to WWE's plans for its biggest show of the summer.
