Liv Morgan’s Women’s World title reign is off and running thanks to an assist from Dominik Mysterio. Morgan retained the Women’s title on Monday’s WWE Raw in a steel cage match against Becky Lynch, then kissed Mysterio, whose assist provided her the opportunity to retain. A show-long storyline on Monday’s Raw episode involved Braun Strowman chasing down JD McDonagh, which played into Morgan’s cage match against Lynch. Strowman defeated McDonagh in a match, then Carlito, Finn Balor, and McDonagh attacked Strowman after the bout. Strowman then chased McDonagh through the arena throughout the show. In one scene, McDonagh was seen talking to Morgan in the back of the arena before Strowman ran in and chased them off. As Morgan wrestled Lynch, Dominik made his way to the ring and opened the cage door as Balor and McDonagh tried to keep Mysterio from interfering on Morgan’s behalf.
