Logan Paul Sends Message to WWE Universe After Turning Down $15 Million Fight Offer

Logan Paul is one of the last WWE wrestlers who can truly generate heat. Most of the fans' dismay stems from his years in the public eye as a prominent creator with his fair share of controversies. His celebrity status has almost certainly helped him get a monster push, including an impending World Heavyweight Championship match at Backlash against Jey Uso.

But with so many side projects, is it even fair for Paul to come into the fold and linger in the main event scene, taking spots from more established performers? In a recent media availability, Paul tried to affirm his status on the card to the WWE universe with a stunning admission.

While on RAW Recap, Paul shared just how committed he is to being a wrestler. "I have committed my life to becoming a WWE superstar," Paul said. "I'm not doing other opportunities. I got offered $15 million to fight Messi's bodyguard. Super appetizing—but I'm a WWE Superstar. I'm on a mission right now, and while all that other cute ancillary stuff works for other people, I'm devoting my life to this. I turned that down, and I'm going to be the best that I can, and I'm available."

Paul has mentioned a few times that he plans to be full-time in WWE, but actions speak louder than words. Turning down that kind of money to continue his path in the company should speak volumes.

He's a maestro on the mic, but his character has little to no depth and is becoming wildly repetitive. His bout with AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41 fell flat, but he is a natural in the ring and could put on some more banger matches with the right opponent. After Backlash he could use a refresh.

If he continues to put in the work, Paul is going to be a major player in the industry for years to come. He has all the tools to be excellent, but we'll have to see if he can stay out of his own way.
