Charlotte Flair dropped Ludwig Kaiser's name in her promo with Tiffany Stratton on Friday, and the WWE Superstar didn't seem to appreciate it. Kaiser, who is doing his own thing on Monday Night Raw, was thrown into the mix of an off-script battle of words between Flair and Stratton when Flair teased that she could take Stratton's real-life boyfriend if she wanted to.

In response to Flair's using Kaiser's name as a personal dig at Stratton, he took to social media and posted an old-school clip of Shawn Michaels saying, "Don't flatter yourself." The response was meant to take a shot at Flair, who asked Stratton why her boyfriend was in Flair's DMs. Flair was trying to get the last word in during what many believe was a shoot promo that stemmed out of frustration on SmackDown. The crowd heavily booed Flair, and Stratton took a personal jab at Flair's recent talk show interview about getting a divorce. Flair was emotional and trying to manage everything during her comeback, which hasn't exactly gone as planned. Stratton, who was criticized a couple of weeks earlier for messing up during a promo, saw an opportunity and took it. Flair responded.
Kaiser got caught in the middle, and he's clearly siding with his girlfriend. His post has over 4.5 million views.
Their promo caught a lot of attention, but it's not clear if either Flair or Stratton will be in hot water with WWE. If nothing else, there's certainly animosity there now. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Stratton claims Flair went off-script first, and Stratton just retaliated. Stratton rolling out of the ring was an attempt to avoid the situation getting worse and a "defense mechanism". She wasn't about to let the veteran get the better of her two times in promos, but her poking at Charlotte's divorce, accompanied by fan reaction to Flair, sent Charlotte over the edge.
It is being reported that the situation between the two "has been brewing" for a few weeks. There is said to be more heat on Flair than on Stratton, and WWE views this situation as both women being unprofessional, even if the result is more interest in their match.
Kaiser's involvement will only add to the level of interest. Whether he is worked into the storylines over the next couple of weeks remains to be seen.
