Major Match Being Planned For AEW All In
Jon Moxley and Hangman Adam Page (via AEW)

AEW All In: Texas, set for Globe Life Field on July 12, is already shaping up to be a huge event. Jon Moxley will defend his AEW World Championship against "Hangman" Adam Page, we're getting a dream match between women's titleholders Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone, and Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada will battle it out one more time for the new AEW Unified Championship. Today, there's a report of another big planned match for All In, which could have major implications in the main event. It hasn't been announced yet, but look to see Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland teaming up to take on the Young Bucks.

Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland Vs. The Young Bucks Is Planned For AEW All In

Last night's Dynamite, part of the four-hour Summer Blockbuster, started with a match between Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay. The two put on a clinic, with their match ending in a thirty-minute time-limit draw. Swerve wanted to keep the match going, but before it could, the Young Bucks showed up for the attack, beating both men down. With their thumbtack shoes on, they went for a double super kick on Swerve, only for Ospreay to jump in front of Strickland and take a bullet.

Today, Fightful Select reported that the plan now is for Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay to take on the Young Bucks at All In.

"Sources familiar with each talent said that a tag team match involving the Young Bucks vs. Swerve Strickland was on the table for quite some time. However, due to the creative of Hangman Page vs. Will Ospreay being kept close to the vest, we heard that Ospreay's creative end of things were firmed up after AEW Double or Nothing. For those asking, we've not heard if any stakes are being attached to the match."

What Affect Will This Have On The AEW All In Main Event?

All In will certainly be main evented by Owen Hart Foundation tournament winner "Hangman" Adam Page looking to be the one to take down his longtime rival, Jon Moxley, and win the AEW World Championship. It feels a bit like WrestleMania 40, with the American hero babyface out to take down the unbeatable heel and his faction.

What role will this planned tag team match have on the main event? A recent Dynamite had Swerve Strickland refusing to help Page, no matter how much Ospreay wanted him to. It's not so hard to imagine that Swerve and Ospreay will be victorious, only for them both to come down and help Page beat Moxley at the end, just like how the locker room emptied last year at WrestleMania 40 to help Cody Rhodes defeat Roman Reigns.
