The 2025 PWI Women’s 250 list was announced on Tuesday, November 11. Pro Wrestling Illustrated shared the news on X, along with the top 10 wrestlers on the list. So who made it to the top of the list? AEWstar and a woman with a lot of belts, Mercedes Mone.

It’s not too shocking to see Mone in the number one spot, considering she’s not only been wrestling in AEW but also taking over other wrestling promotions and winning their Women’s titles. How many titles does she have? Well, she’s the longest reigning AEW TBS Champion and is the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion, CMLL World Women's Champion, EWA Women's Champion, Prime Time Wrestling Women's Champion, BestYa Women's Champion, Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women's Champion, BODYSLAM Women's Champion, Interim ROH Women's World Television Champion, and Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women's Champion. She’s also this year’s Owen Hart Cup tournament winner.
Those who don’t think she defends the titles could be any more wrong. Earlier this week, Mone recently retained the BestYa Women’s Title in Rome, Italy. Though even with all of these accolades, there is one title that has eluded her since joining AEW — the AEW Women’s Championship. Mone will be getting a shot at the title in a match against the current AEW Women’s Champion, Kris Statlander, on November 22 at Full Gear.
Former AEW Women’s Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm is at the number 2 spot. Last year, she was in first place. Third on the list is 28-year-old World of Stardom Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Saya Kamitani. In two months, Kamitani will be defending her title against IWGP Women’s Champion Syuri at Wrestle Kingdom 20. So, if she wins, she could ultimately become a double champion. Fourth on the list is former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Stratton had only lost the title ten days ago. She lost to current champion Jade Cargill on November 1 at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Fifth on the list is another current WWE Superstar, WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Sixth on the list is WWE star IYO SKY; seventh is ROH Women’s World Champion Athena (she has held the title for over 1,000 days); eighth is former IWGP Women’s World Champion Sareee; and ninth and tenth are WWE stars Naomi and Rhea Ripley. The magazine, which, as seen above, features both Mone and Storm on the cover, will be released in stores on December 2.
