Naomi’s 1st Title Defense Revealed on WWE Monday Night RAW

Naomi would open up WWE Monday Night RAW with an in-ring promo where she would mention how she is done with Bianca Belair before being interrupted by Rhea Ripley and then Iyo Sky, the two women who were involved in the cash-in on Sunday night. Naomi told them that they had to go to the back of the line for a title match, but RAW General Manager Adam Pearce had different plans.

He would announce that at Summerslam it would be a triple-threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship as Naomi would face both Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. This match should be very interesting and it was not clear which night of Summerslam this match would be on. The story between these three is newer, but heading out of WWE Evolution, it makes a lot of sense to have these three women compete for the biggest title in the RAW Women’s Division.

WWE Summerslam will take place at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 2 and 3 as this is the first year the Premium Live Event is two nights. It will be interesting to see if Naomi can retain in her first title defense or if one of the challengers can get the championship.
