WWE 2K25 just dropped its ‘Fearless Pack’ DLC, and it has proved to be a moment of significance for Paul Heyman. The inclusion of the late ECW legend New Jack has been described by Heyman as not just important for the WWE 2K25 Universe, but for the entire video game industry.

“This is a moment of completion in the entire video game industry,” Heyman said in an interview with Metro. “You cannot deny New Jack’s influence in sports entertainment/pro wrestling culture, nor should you deny his influence on video games… are you telling me that those who make Grand Theft Auto weren’t influenced by New Jack? Come on!”

New Jack: A Controversial Pick for WWE 2K25

New Jack was known for his high-risk, often controversial hardcore wrestling style. His approach brought him a notorious level of fame in TNA and Heyman’s ECW. While New Jack was never officially signed by WWE, he did reportedly work a number of dark matches in the early 2000s.

Despite earning a cult following as an extreme wrestler, his inclusion in WWE 2K25 may be seen by some fans as a step too far. He was involved in several serious incidents with ECW and independent promotions, chief among them the Mass Transit incident.

The ‘Fearless Pack’ DLC was released yesterday to, in part, celebrate the launch of WWE 2K25 on the Nintendo Switch 2. The details of New Jack’s in-game character will no doubt please die-hard fans of the ECW era.

New Jack comes complete with a shopping cart full of weapons. Additionally, in true New Jack style, his theme music plays throughout his matches. The North Carolina native was well known for being the only mainstream professional wrestler to do this.

But the ‘Fearless Pack’ moniker doesn’t just extend to New Jack; it’s a title befitting of his fellow DLC inclusions. Included are Japanese legend Bull Nakano, former TNA Knockouts Champion and current NXT star Jordynne Grace, and El Cero Miedo himself, Penta.

The celebrity inclusion in the pack is popular influencer and Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration partner, KSI. The social media star is dressed up in his Prime bottle attire from WrestleMania 39.
