New WWE Intercontinental title number one contender crowned

A new number one contender to Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship was crowned on Monday’s WWE Raw.

Jey Uso won a four-way number one contender’s match in the main event of Monday’s Raw to earn a future shot at Breakker’s Intercontinental title.

Uso won the four-way over Braun Strowman, Ilja Dragunov, and Pete Dunne to conclude the Intercontinental title contender’s tournament that has played out on Raw in recent weeks.

After the match, Breakker came to the ring to confront Uso, with the two staring one another down to end this week’s episode.

No date has been revealed for the IC title match between Breakker and Uso, with an upcoming episode of Raw, or the October 5 Bad Blood PLE the most likely destinations for the eventual title bout.

Bronson Reed also returned on Raw after missing last week’s episode, attacking Strowman to clear the deck for Uso’s win.
