Nikki Bella: Top WWE Star Did Not Tell Her This Was Going to Happen

That made the ending of SummerSlam 2025 Night One a genuine surprise for the WWE Hall of Famer.

Watching from a suite at MetLife Stadium, Bella started to walk out of the stadium, feeling happy for CM Punk, who had just won the World Heavyweight Championship, when "Burn It Down" made her turn around.

She thought Seth was going to cut a promo, considering he just talked with her about his need for surgery at Evolution. Along with everyone else, Nikki was fooled when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

Nikki and Stephanie McMahon commended Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and even their four-year-old daughter for keeping up the gimmick. Their daughter was even told to keep the lie a secret while at school.

WWE Unreal may have revealed more than old school fans are used to, but kayfabe is not completely dead.

Rollins & Lynch will team together this Saturday at Wrestlepalooza against the man he took the World Heavyweight Championship from at SummerSlam, CM Punk, and the returning AJ Lee.
