The knockout round in the G1 Climax 34 is set after the final night of round-robin action took place today in Nagaoka. David Finlay clinched the top spot in B Block with a win over El Phantasmo on today’s show to run his record to 6-3. He’ll receive a bye to the tournament semifinals on Friday. Yota Tsuji clinched his spot in the knockout round with a win over Jeff Cobb on Wednesday. Konsuke Takeshita also advanced out of the group with a win over Ren Narita. Tsuji and Takeshita finished tied at 10 points along with Ren Narita and Jeff Cobb. Takeshita advances in the second seed based on his wins over Tsuji, Narita, and Cobb in round-robin play.
