Oba Femi and Bron Breakker are viewed as two future WrestleMania main event stars, and the pair's first encounter could come sooner than anticipated following last night's episode of WWE RAW. Breakker hyped up his match against CM Punk in a promo segment which caught the attention of the NXT Champion.

Oba Femi Fuels Talk of Bron Breakker Feud

Bron Breakker continued to call out CM Punk ahead of their match for the World Heavyweight Championship on the RAW on Netflix anniversary show (January 5th). But it was his borrowing of a line from Oba Femi, which had fans talking when the Unpredictable Badass said:

"I am the mountain you cannot climb!"

Oba Femi is a man of many words, and he earned huge plaudits during a promo exchange with Ricky Saints when he used that same line. The Ruler reacted to Breakker's promo with a post on X:

"I’ll be expecting my royalties for those bars!!!"

Oba Femi is expected to be called up to the main roster at some stage in 2026, but he will first be defending his NXT Championship against TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater at New Year's Evil on January 6th. If he were to win that match and Breakker defeats Punk on the Netflix anniversary show, it means both will be world champions of their respective brands.

Some fans are pitting their two rising stars against one another to determine who is the true future face of the company. Some believe Breakker is the man with shades of Batista, especially after he betrayed former champion Seth Rollins to take leadership of The Vision.

While others are backing Oba by suggesting he is the next Brock Lesnar-type talent to dominate the main roster once he arrives on RAW or SmackDown. They very well could be the two leading stars of the next generation in WWE, and their promo work is just as impressive as their in-ring displays.

Oba Femi vs Bron Breakker: Who is WWE's Next Megastar?

It's always difficult assessing who has the tools to be the poster boy of WWE in the long term but it's clear that Oba Femi and Bron Breakker are the two frontrunners. Both are proving their worth on the mic and in the ring and comparing different factors to determine who has the biggest potential is bound to cause a debate.

Wrestling Ability: Bron Breakker

Oba Femi has shown he has the potential to become one of the best big men in WWE history with astonishing athleticism, including his leaping uppercut on Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event. But Bron Breakker shades this on his explosiveness and MMA-like wrestling style, perhaps possessing the best Spear from any wrestler in history.

Promos: Oba Femi

The fact that Breakker has 'stolen' a line from Oba shows just how talented the Nigerian is with a microphone in his hand. You believe everything he is saying, and his delivery is always on point, and that's so important when trying to connect with the audience.

Aura: Oba Femi

Both have unique prescences whenever they make their entrances but Oba Femi feels like a megastar when his theme music hits and he marches to the ring. The Lesnar comparison stems from his ability to pique the interest of even non-wrestling fans with his undeniable aura.

Fan Support: Tie

When Breakker stole Rollins' world title before he was forced to hand it over to Adam Pearce, many were eager for him to be awarded the belt because it just looked right on his shoulder. Many remain vocal in their wish to see him become champion, doing so by defeating top babyface CM Punk next month.

But there is also a growing desire from fans to see Oba immediately positioned as one of the top stars when he is called up. Some argue that his Saturday Night's Main Event appearance stole the show on a night John Cena retired.

Appearance: Oba Femi

There have been many past and present WWE stars who have the look of Breakker, but Oba stands out as a 310-pound monster with a six-foot-six-inch frame. He looks like the real deal, and his presentation has been fresh.

Charisma: Bron Breakker

This one is tough to call simply because Breakker is working with proven main event stars while Oba is still climbing the WWE ladder and working stars at the start of their careers. As such, it's The Vision's Baddest Dog on the Planet who has been able to display the most charisma thus far, especially during his feud with Punk.

Marketability: Oba Femi

Oba and Breakker have both got the fans invested in their characters with the audience chanting 'Ooo' when the Nigerian enters a building. They also bark whenever the RAW star is on screen and these are valuable for marketing the pair.

We've already seen Breakker play the babyface role, and he is way better as a heel, so this leans into Oba as the more marketable. His appeal has fans often siding with him in feuds with faces, and if he does go on a babyface run on the main roster, you can bet his merchandise sales will be through the roof on the WWE shop.

Winner: Oba Femi

For now, it seems like Oba Femi has the lead in the battle to be WWE's next Cena-like megastar, and that's because there's more potential for him as a babyface. That's not to say Breakker can't be a leading star for years to come, but he seems to be more of a fit as the Randy Orton or Batista to Oba's Cena.
