'One of WWE's Best Signings' - Fans Tip 'Fantastic' NXT Talent To Become Top Heel

All Ego is the reigning NXT North American Champion, having previously held the NXT Championship. His current run with gold has seen him take on a patriotic gimmick, changing the title straps to Canadian colours while also partnering up with compatriot Chelsea Green of SmackDown.

The 35-year-old former AEW star arrived in WWE in May 2024 and has quickly won over fans with his heel work and in-ring abilities. He's also garnered admiration from the higher-ups who are reportedly eyeing him for a main roster call-up at some stage in the near future.

Page's latest appearance on TV saw him defeat NXT alumni Tyler Breeze with his North American Championship on the line. He made light work of the former WWE star and even took time mocking his flamboyance during their match.

X account, Wrestle Features, gave a glowing verdict of Page:

"One of WWE's best signings of the past 5 years. He is fantastic."

Fans were in agreement with one predicting an extremely bright future:

"He is so unlikable in a good way. He has the potential to be one of the top heels in the company."

Another fan wrote:

Another is eager to see him on RAW or SmackDown:

Page has spoken in the past about his ambitions to one day main event WrestleMania and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Bret Hart. With the Road to WrestleMania kicking off in January, he could find himself edging closer to that dream.

Chelsea Green Wants Ethan Page On WWE's Main Roster

Shawn Michaels recently heralded Ethan Page and Chelsea Green amid their partnership on NXT during the latter's sporadic appearances on the brand with her Green Regime stable (Piper Niven and Alba Fyre). But their social media work further getting their alignment over with fans also didn't go unnoticed by WWE's hierarchy, who were "impressed", per WrestleVotes.

Green, much like the majority of fans, thinks Page will explode when given the chance to step up to the main roster. She told USA Today: "Ethan Page absolutely deserves everything in wrestling that he’s ever got, and now I feel like it’s my job to make sure the main roster sees him as a main roster talent. I also hope that he stays with us. I think that we’ve learned so much from him. He’s learned so much from us, and we have just made kind of the perfect unit."

There are suggestions that Page could soon arrive on SmackDown and continue to work with Green and her faction. His quick adaptation to WWE in developmental can't be ignored, and there is an obvious superstar ready for the main roster.
