Saraya (formerly Paige in WWE) posted a cryptic message on Sunday night, seemingly teasing a big announcement for the start of 2026. Many wonder if it has something to do with a potential return to WWE, and if so, the pieces seem to fit.
8 years yesterday from when I thought my career was over during a Uniondale house show. What a ride it’s been since. Grateful for my health, family, friends and fans. You truly keep me going! My noodle neck is as strong as ever hahaCan’t wait for what 2026 has in store â¤ï¸âš¡ï¸— SARAYA (@Saraya) December 29, 2025
She wrote on X.com (formerly Twitter), "8 years yesterday from when I thought my career was over during a Uniondale house show. What a ride it’s been since. Grateful for my health, family, friends and fans. You truly keep me going! My noodle neck is as strong as ever haha Can’t wait for what 2026 has in store."
Fans immediately hopped into the thread of the post, wondering if she was teasing a WWE return. One fan wrote, "We love you Saraya! Hoping to see you back between the ropes next year (maybe for Royal Rumble, need to get Triple H on the phone), whether you return or not, we love you and can't wait to see how 2026 treats you! Here's to a great year full of love and blessings."
Others figured the Rumble or the first Raw or SmackDown of 2026 would be a great place for her to return. And, if she's feeling good about her neck, that could mean an in-ring return.
Paige fueled WWE return speculation after appearing at Insane Wrestling Revolution using her old WWE theme, “Stars in the Night.” The former Divas Champion confronted Pierre Gerrin, booked a tag match, and showed clear in-ring confidence. The fact they used her WWE theme seems a bit out of the ordinary if WWE hadn't approved such a move.
Now a free agent after her AEW run as Saraya, Paige has been training for a comeback and has openly discussed returning as “Paige.” Her appearance, along with her social media post on Sunday night, has sparked talk of a return to where she first got her big break and became a superstar.
There is also news that WWE is on the verge of bringing back Chris Jericho, which would mean the potential for two huge returns in a matter of a week or two.
