If there's one thing Paul Heyman truly excels at, it's the future of the business. Heralded for his eye for talent, Heyman not only paved the way for some of the biggest Superstars in wrestling history, his creation, ECW, changed the way wrestling was presented forever.

As an integral part of WWE 2K26, Heyman represents the game's WWE Undisputed Champion Bron Breakker, as well as the game's WWE Women's Champion Jordynne Grace in its MyRISE arc. In an exclusive interview with TheSportster, Paul Heyman praised Jordynne Grace, the WWE Women's Division, and the future of WWE.

Paul Heyman Calls Jordynne Grace "Near Flawless" In The Ring

Through the MyRISE portion of WWE 2K26, players play as The Archetype, a returning WWE Superstar who has been away from the ring for many years, returning to claim his spot at the top of the WWE Universe. This journey won't be easy for the players, as they'll choose to face the game's WWE Undisputed Champion Bron Breakker, as well as the game's WWE Women's Champion Jordynne Grace, both of whom are represented by Paul Heyman.

When asked about the selection of Jordynne Grace for this position in the game, Heyman said the people at 2K had a high opinion of her, one that was shared and one he had no objection to.

I had absolutely no objection because I am a huge fan of Jordynne Grace, not only of where she is right now, but of her trajectory being towards the top of the women's division of WWE.

Heyman then shared his feelings on the current WWE Women's Division, one he called the "most stacked" in all of professional wrestling, and put over Grace's future as a future box office attraction.

We have, in my opinion, the most stacked women's division in the history, not just of WWE, but in all of professional wrestling, sports entertainment, or even mixed martial arts. I can run down the names on this roster. It would take me too long, and God forbid I leave someone out and slight them, not because I'm afraid of the ramifications, but because I wouldn't want to be disrespectful to the enormity of the talent that comes from the women's roster in 2026 in WWE. But suffice to say; Wow, what a roster.

Any of these women, be it Rhea Ripley, be it Jade Cargill, be it AJ Lee, be it Becky Lynch, be it Bayley, be it Nattie, be it Maxxine Dupri. Again, me trying to name them all, just the list goes on and on and on and on. Nia Jax, Lash Legend. Bella Twins. You can't go wrong. So when 2K said to me, we're suggesting Jordynne Grace, great. What a talent. What a box office attraction she's going to be and already is. She's perfect for this game because she is damn near flawless inside the ring.

Paul Heyman Always Wants To Give The Right Tip On The Future Of WWE

With so much prestige and importance attached with being a Paul Heyman Guy, or Paul Heyman Gal, there are many competing for the next top positions of WWE. With a plethora of ways that WWE is expanding and cultivating talent, including internally with NXT, Evolve, and WWE LFG, as well as its external relationships with TNA and AAA, the future is as full and as bright as its ever been.

While Paul Heyman says he does see the next big thing within WWE, he declines to provide a specific person or people. Heyman's reasoning is a good one: it's a competitive environment, and that competition breeds the best of the best.

Anyone who's not on the main roster at this moment is in hyper-competition with everyone else to get noticed. To become the next Raw or SmackDown superstar. Inside that competition, we now find out who can rise to the top, who can edge out the other, who wants it more than the other person. And that's a weeding out process that if I name right now someone that I'm looking at in NXT or Evolve or any part of the system, and I name them, and they get edged out by someone else, my opinion is going to shift very fast. So before I give what is the WWE equivalent of a stock tip for you to put your emotional investment into a talent that is going to become the next big thing, the next WrestleMania main eventer, the next champion on Raw or SmackDown, I want to make sure that I'm giving the right tip. They have to rise above the rest under the most competitive environment imaginable. And that's their proving ground, not only to the public, not only to me, but to themselves.
