The WWE continues its big announcements. Hours after the ESPN news, they announced a new multi-year deal with Peacock to exclusively stream “Saturday Night’s Main Event.”

The latest partnership will mean that Peacock will stream four Saturday Night’s Main Event a year. To finish out 2025, the next Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on November 1, and the final event will be on December 13, which will be John Cena’s retirement match.

That December event is highly anticipated, as it is sure to draw huge numbers, given that Cena will call it a career after that match. There have been rumors of the event taking place in Boston or NYC (Madison Square Garden), but with Peacock now securing the rights, it will likely happen at MSG, which is near the NBC Headquarters.

Along with Saturday Night’s Main Event, the press release addressed the latest on some of their other deals.

The WWE Network library will remain available on Peacock through the end of 2025, and NXT Premium Live Events will be available on Peacock until March 2026.

“Throughout the term of the partnership, the SmackDown library will remain on Peacock on a 30-day delay, and USA Network will continue as the live exclusive home of SmackDown on Friday nights.”

Along with WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, NBC Sports President Rick Cordella commented on the recent partnership.

We’re excited to bring Saturday Night’s Main Event exclusively to Peacock beginning this fall,” said Levesque. “NBCU have been terrific longtime partners, and we look forward to continuing to work with them for years to come.”

“Peacock has had a wonderful relationship with the WWE and we’re excited to see it continue far into the future,” said Cordella . “Saturday Night’s Main Event is some of the most premium content the WWE produces, including John Cena’s upcoming retirement match, and it will be all live and exclusive on Peacock .”
