Jey Uso must face his toughest opponent Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship on WWE Raw.
The first show after a massive weekend for WWE means we have no other matches announced. But the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments do begin.
Here’s the full preview for WWE Raw from the PHX Arena in Phoenix, AZ.
As always, WWE Raw airs live on Netflix worldwide at 8 ET/5 PT.
Uso couldn’t beat Gunther for almost a year. The Austrian seemed too big a challenge. But at WrestleMania 41 Uso beat Gunther and became World Heavyweight Champion.
Since then, Uso has defeated Seth Rollins and Logan Paul with his title on the line. But now he faces an old adversary with a revived focus and aggression.
If Uso can topple Gunther again, he must stay aware of the looming new Money in the Bank briefcase holder.
WWE will also begin its quest for the challengers for its major titles at WWE SummerSlam. The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will kick off on WWE Raw.
The tournament winners will get a shot at a championship of their choosing at WWE SummerSlam.
But will Arizona-native Nikki Bella announce her participation. The former Divas Champion will return in her home state tonight.
