Randy Orton Gives IShowSpeed Advice After YouTuber Tries Hitting An RKO
Saul Young/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK

Randy Orton has advised IShowSpeed about the dangers of WWE, such as being hit with a spear by Bron Breakker, after the YouTube megastar attempted an RKO on the WWE star. Orton and his wife, Kim, attended the Twitch streaming sensation's launch event for his new YouTube show 'Speed Goes Pro' along with Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.

Orton's Advice For IShowSpeed After RKO Close Shave

Speed has made several appearances on WWE TV and was famously hit with an RKO by Randy Orton on an announcer's desk at WrestleMania 40. But the most brutal bump the 20-year-old has endured came during the Royal Rumble last year when Bron Breakker speared him, and he was left legitimately winded.

The American streamer tried getting revenge on Orton by creeping up behind him at his event and pretending to hit an RKO on the Viper. The legendary WWE star turned around, and the duo embraced before the SmackDown star revealed they would soon be working together.

Kim, Orton's wife, had hilariously pretended to do a Michael Cole voiceover when Speed prepared to try an RKO on her husband. It was a comical moment that will undoubtedly be promoted by WWE thanks to its viewership numbers.

Later on, Orton was asked to give Speed some advice related to the wrestling business, and he seemed to try to warn him against taking bumps, such as the Breakker spear. He said (via WWE's X account):

"He still has actually yet to wrestle his first wrestling match. There's a couple of spots he's been in, most recently Bron Breakker speared him. Anybody that didn't see it, make sure you go Google Bron Breakker spearing IShowSpeed. He took an incredible hit."

Orton added:

"If I could give Speed any advice, in another couple of decades make sure you're not taking bumps like that because it's gonna be hard to get up in the morning. Take it from me."

"It's Time" - IShowSpeed To Compete In a WWE Match?

WWE love nothing more than getting celebrities on board and trying out pro wrestling, as was the case at SummerSlam in August. American singer Jelly Roll teamed with Randy Orton in a losing battle against IShowSpeed's fellow YouTuber Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.

Triple H would have hit the jackpot from a commercial standpoint if he were to get Speed competing in a proper wrestling match other than the Royal Rumble. He could use Paul to try and make it happen given that The Maverick has proposed the Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy get revenge on several WWE stars.

Paul said on his Impaulsive podcast earlier this year:

"The thing about Speed is he is obviously very physically capable. I’m tired of seeing him getting his ass kicked. In the WWE, Randy Orton, nasty RKO through a table. Now, Bron Breakker, spear. Otis threw him over a table. I want to see Speed kick some ass. It’s time for his get back."

Kai Cenat pitched a match to Speed against Paul, but he turned this down, claiming "no more WWE" because he "couldn't walk for days." It will be interesting to see if Orton is a guest on his new Speed Goes Pro series and whether they will discuss a possible return to the ring for the Twitch streamer.
