We now have a better idea about Seth Rollins' status following his knee injury on WWE Raw.

Fightful reports that Rollins suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus while facing Jinder Mahal on Raw this past Monday. The injury happened during a spot where Rollins hit a Lionsault. He started favoring his knee after the move.

Dave Meltzer reported after Raw that Rollins was scheduled to have an MRI done to determine the extent of his injury.

While the timeline for when Rollins will be able to return to the ring isn't known, this type of injury would likely put his WrestleMania 40 status in question but not rule out him competing at the event.

Rollins retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Mahal in their match. WWE has been building toward Rollins defending the title against CM Punk at WrestleMania.

WrestleVotes tweeted on Friday that, as of now, the plan is for Rollins to address his health and future as World Heavyweight Champion on Raw this coming Monday (January 22).

Rollins was crowned the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion when he defeated AJ Styles in the finals of a tournament at Night of Champions last May.
