Trent Beretta is reportedly out of action.
Fightful Select reported on Saturday that Beretta has been out of action since Double or Nothing in May, where he lost to Orange Cassidy. They additionally noted that Beretta hadn’t been cleared to compete “for quite some time” and was due for a push prior to his injury.
Saturday’s Collision saw Beretta interfere in the main event, taking out Orange Cassidy and allowing The Kingdom to double team Kyle O’Reilly, leading to a win. After the match, Cassidy emerged with a wrench and struck Trent from behind, laying him out.

A storyline in recent months has had Trent turn on the Best Friends, first laying out Cassidy following a tag team loss. After Chuck Taylor sided with Cassidy, Trent took out Taylor by smashing his leg with a wrench following their parking lot brawl. In recent weeks, he has aligned himself with the Don Callis family after Callis teased interest in bringing Cassidy into his group, only to reveal it was a swerve.
