WWE will continue their collaboration with other promotions as a new report from Wrestlevotes out Saturday has NXT working with Mexico’s AAA for a revival of Worlds Collide. The show is reportedly set for Saturday, June 7th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. As of this writing, the show hasn’t been officially announced by either side. It would be the latest partnership between WWE and another promotion — a trend that has increased in the last few years. WWE announced a formal partnership with TNA Wrestling this year that has seen talent from both TNA and NXT move back and forth between shows. Additionally, WWE has working arrangements with Japan’s NOAH and Marigold promotions, and GCW which hosted a WWE ID Championship tournament event this week and also had several main roster and NXT wrestlers appearing at GCW’s Bloodsport XIII. AAA’s main competitor in Mexico — CMLL — has a partnership with AEW. The Worlds Collide concept began in January 2019 with a special featuring wrestlers from NXT, NXT UK
