An AC joint injury is what forced Rhea Ripley to vacate the Women's World Championship. With her arm in a sling, Ripley appeared on Monday's Raw and announced that she had to vacate the title due to a shoulder injury. She had been champion for 380 days before being forced to relinquish the title. Ripley said she'll be out of action for "quite a few months." On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez said that Ripley's injury is a sprained AC joint. It happened during Ripley and Liv Morgan's brawl on the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw. Alvarez wrote in his subscriber-exclusive Raw report: She suffered a sprained AC joint in the brawl with Liv Morgan last week. Liv threw her into the wall and she hurt it, a total fluke.
