During an interview in which Ric Flair discussed John Cena's heel turn and recent promo on Monday Night Raw, The Nature Boy told @TMZ_Sports that he would be at WrestleMania 41. While it's difficult to know how much of what Flair says is legitimately trustworthy, if true, there's a chance that he could get involved in the WWE Championship match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes.

After John Cena brought Flair up during his promo on WWE Raw this past Monday, TMZ wanted to know what Flair thought about the turn and the storyline of Cena taking away the legacy of the WWE Championship and spitting on Ric's 17 title wins on his way out the door. Cena said on Raw, "At WrestleMania, I make history by winning a 17th Championship, and I finally force you to forget the name of the fun machine jet flying woooo Ric Flair." He added, "You will forever say the name John Cena."
Flair doesn't think it will be so easy for Cena to erase Flair from the history books, and said the odds of Cena winning the title are astronomical. "They've been trying to get rid of the 'woo' for 50 years. The 'woo' ain't going away, and neither is Ric Flair."
When asked if he will be at WrestleMania, Flair responded, "Hell, yeah!"
Flair didn't specifically say he would be part of the Cena and Rhodes storyline. He also talked about simply being in attendance, and that could be for several reasons. Flair may want to be in attendance to see Cena break his record in person. His attendance might have had nothing to do with the Cena match. Flair may go just to cheer on his daughter, Charlotte Flair. She, too, has a title match against Tiffany Stratton on the card.
Flair says a lot of things, and it's not like WWE to let something this big get spoiled in public. Should Flair be part of the storyline? If he's there, it's more likely to watch and see Cena break his record, adding drama to the moment.
