Rhio has suffered an injury.
On Sunday, the AEW star revealed on Instagram that she had fractured her arm. She wrestled one day prior on Saturday’s AEW Collision, defeating Lady Frost.
“I just fractured my arm but I’m doing very well” she wrote in the caption.
Her match on Saturday was her first since March, where she was unsuccessful in defeating Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW Big Business. Following that show, she revealed that she was in the process of renewing her visa.
Upon her return at the end of last month, she confronted Serena Deeb after Deeb dared for someone at her level to challenge her. Since then, the rivalry has been showcased on Collision. The two previously faced off at Double or Nothing 2021 in the pre-show match where Deeb defeated Riho to retain the NWA Women’s Championship.
Having been with the company since its inception, Riho is the first-ever AEW Women’s Champion. She last challenged for the title at World’s End, losing to current champion Toni Storm.
