The August 18, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw opened with one of the hottest acts on the brand, The Vision. Paul Heyman took the microphone and hyped up Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed to the audience. All three of them have been dominant in the ring while their own contributions have made them uniquely themselves.
This was all interrupted by Jey Uso, who is one of Rollins’ competitors at Clash in Paris. During Uso’s promo, he specifically called out Bron Breakker by name. This exchange led to an Extreme Rules match at the end of the night between Uso and Breakker. During the match, a surprise appearance by Roman Reigns was a decisive part in the finish and made moves of his own for Clash in Paris.
The Extreme Rules match between Bron Breakker and Jey Uso was as good as advertised. They used kendo sticks, chairs, tables, and more to try to get the win. Bronson Reed interrupted the match, coming to the aid of Breakker, and then the floodgates burst open.
LA Knight appeared and attacked Reed, which led to Seth Rollins coming out to defend his stablemate. CM Punk then ran out and attacked Rollins. After accidentally putting Knight through a table, Punk and Rollins brawled to the back.
As the melee subsided, Breakker lined up for the spear to finish Uso off. That’s when Roman Reigns made his grand entrance, spearing Breakker himself. He got Breakker onto another table, allowing for Uso to hit a frog splash and get the victory.
Afterwards, Reed attempted to attack him and seemingly confirmed a match with him at Clash in Paris. Even though he was only on screen for a short amount of time, Reigns did a lot on Raw. He helped his cousin win while setting up a match at Clash in Paris, making the most out of every moment.
