There was a time when Roman was feuding with The Authority, which was run by Stephanie and her husband, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. At one time, the stable included Stephanie, Triple H, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Big Show, Jamie Noble, and Joey Mercury. They were the reason that Seth Rollins shockingly turned on The Shield in June 2014. Anyway, on the podcast, Reigns brought up the December 14, 2015, episode of WWE RAW, where Stephanie slapped him over and over again and ended up legitimately busting his eardrum. Below is their banter back and forth about the incident:

Stephanie: “You used to talk a lot of sh–t to me in the ring.”

Roman: “Only because I knew if I didn’t, you’d slap me 15 times in a row.”

Stephanie: “We were on the same page at first.”

Roman: “Busted my eardrum, too.”

Stephanie: “I believe it.”

Roman: “Shattered that sucker. The doctor was like, ‘Oh, yeah.’”

Stephanie: “Well, don’t f–k with me [laughs].” (h/t: Fightful)

Why did she slap him in the ring? It was what Reigns did to Triple H at the 2015 TLC PLE. A furious Reign was upset after Sheamus retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Post-match, he attacked Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, and Rusev. Triple H came down to calm down the Tribal Chief, but instead, he attacked The Game and took him out of action. This led Vince McMahon to have to take over his son-in-law's role. So Stephanie got her “revenge” on Reigns.

Ronda Rousey Says She Got A Concussion From One Of Stephanie’s Slaps

Reigns isn’t the only one to share a story about getting legitimately hurt by Stephanie’s infamous slaps. The former UFC fighter said that a stiff slap from McMahon before their match at WrestleMania 34 left her with a concussion.

The slap happened during the WrestleMania 34 contract signing between partners Rousey and Kurt Angle and their opponents Triple H and Stephanie. Rousey ended up putting The Game through a table, which is why Stephanie hit her. So the moral of the story is don't touch Stephanie's man, or you'll get hit.
