Roman Reigns has had a mixed presence in WWE this season as the former world champion has had a few hiatuses on television. Such time off has enabled him to rest. During this time, he will undertake activities unrelated to the wrestling ring.

Although the lighter schedule ensued, the Tribal Chief was nevertheless the one fighting in the main event of Wrestlemania 41 earlier this year. In recent years, however, Roman Reigns has been occupied with completing his newest Hollywood film, the movie Street Fighter.

Crown Jewel Plans Confirmed

WWE has ensured that Roman Reigns will attend Crown Jewel, as it’s one of the company’s largest events. The exhibition will be held in Perth, Australia, on 11th October. His appearance at such a big occasion has seen his fans wondering what position he will take in the card.

None This Week SmackDown Appearance

As per multiple reports, Roman Reigns isn’t expected to return to weekly action as soon as fans had hoped. He is not expected to appear on SmackDown this Friday. The WWE has not yet announced the time frame of his arrival.

The final official match of Roman Reigns was held at Clash in Paris at the end of last month. He still enjoys a locker room leader status despite his reduced appearances. His agreement keeps him in the ranks of the best-paid superstars in WWE history.

Timeline and Future Arrangements of the Contract

Roman Reigns affirmed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair that his existing contract with WWE would end at WrestleMania 42. WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on April 11, 2026, in Las Vegas. He explained that after the expiration of his deal, he will have a short period as a full-time wrestler. In his opinion, he could have at most another year or two before he moves to a less physically demanding type of entertainment.

Industry observers have a high degree of faith that Roman Reigns is poised to spend more time in Hollywood. Just like his cousins, The Rock, John Cena, and Batista. It is virtually inevitable with his increasing presence on the big screen and an already one-blockbuster role to play. Reigns has had the WWE title on his face over the last few years. Still, he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. But he has been changing his role considerably.
